Vehicular Communication and Trajectory Prediction

Research on tracking surrounding vehicles and predicting their future movements from position and speed information exchanged between vehicles. Taking into account differences in communication devices and information that is hard to deliver, we study a method that combines periodic beacon transmission, relaying when needed and trajectory prediction. We also handle cooperative prediction that accounts for GPS errors, aiming to grasp the state of nearby vehicles under limited communication conditions.
