BLE-based IoT Sensor Systems

Research on an IoT system, built on Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), in which a single sensor device can be used by multiple applications and services. We study sharing devices by combining data acquisition over a connection with a broadcast method that receives information without connecting. We design and evaluate a control mechanism that runs multiple processes in parallel, aiming to make good use of limited computing resources and reduce the development of dedicated devices for each service.
