Activity Recognition and Feedback

Research on understanding where people are and who they are acting with by linking beacons and smartphones. We study a mechanism that estimates connections between people from the time they spend in the same place and the overlap of their activities. We also work on technology that uses Wi-Fi signals to estimate which room a person is in inside a building. Through such location and activity information, we aim to visualize the activities of people and groups and to understand interaction and how spaces are used.
